Scandinavian Focus for Fairway Congress

Fairway 2002, the 8th International Golf Course Congress, will take place at Munich’s MOC from 28th February to 1st March and the main focus of the Congress will be on Scandinavia.

The workshop and seminar programme starts on 27th February. Fairway is continental Europe’s key trade fair for greenkeepers, golf course operators, golf club managers, professionals and golf course architects.

Scandinavia is renowned for its innovative approach to golf. Many simple and economical golf courses are now being constructed in order to promote golf as a sport for the masses.

Speakers from Finland, Iceland and Sweden will provide information about the budgeting, construction and marketing of low-budget golf courses and about environmental management. Fairway 2002
