Action on Turf Pests & Disease

The STRI's Turf Pathologist, Dr Ruth Mann, is heading a research initiative looking at the effects and transmission of turf pests and diseases.

All golf clubs in the UK & Ireland have been asked to take part in a questionnaire to identify the major problems and highlight any central areas of disease.

The findings should be able to pinpoint the links between the spread of pests and diseases and weather or management practices. The results will be published early next year.
